The Strategy and Compliance Support Analyst will operate in a fast paced, customer facing environment across multiple levels of organizational leadership to support strategic planning and compliance and improve processes for in partnership with our customer. Job Description Provide strategic planning support for the annual planning cycle by analyzing, enhancing and implementing: The development of aligned organizational goals with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) goals. Operational objectives to support the goals. Define and implement reporting processes thereby enabling Government leadership to have a clear understanding or program progress. Support the tracking and refinement of Balance Scorecard strategic initiatives. Develop and implement efficient tracking mechanisms to provide both visual and analytic data in a flexible and adaptable format. Utilize a tracking tool to draft and/or review award packages and processes. Assist with facilitation, management, training and tracking Government employee certifications. Analyze ongoing impact and effectiveness of strategic planning with all stakeholders within the organization. Assisting Chairpersons on agenda development, meeting logistics and follow up activities. Provide risk management and governance compliance support by: The development of governance documentation to support executive level decisions. Provide analysis of organization's participation in governance boards across the enterprise to determine optimal engagement. Review, and provide analysis and documentation of compliance documents for organization's programs. Provide analysis of program risks and recommend courses of action. Provide recommendations to project teams within the organization to promote best practices and alignment to organizational objectives. As a team member, understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and, feedback to less experienced staff. General consultant support to include project management tasks, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc duties as needed. Required Skills: Minimum of seven (7) years' of business, IT, or process analysis and at least three (3) years of experience in working Federal IT Governance and Compliance support. Experience coordinating communication activities across teams Demonstrate analytical skills and excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) Experience facilitating meetings and capturing minutes. Strong attention to detail. Ability to interact with senior level executives. Bachelor or Associates Degree in Statistical Analysis, Communications, and/or Management - or a combination of coursework and work experience. Ability to manage sensitive situations with extreme professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks. Desired skills: Experience supporting DHS HQ or other US Federal Agencies. Previous experience with Atlassian Suite of products and services. Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SQL (Structured Query Language) experience preferred.
