In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.How you will make an impact- Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Accountable for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures- Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees Requirements - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects- BA or BS degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis- Proven understanding local, state and federal laws- Excellent written and verbal business skills- Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms - We need someone who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity- Prior HR Generalist experience preferred- Prior full cycle recruiting experience- Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) ADP - Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plusWe want to hear from you if you have the right skills for this role and are available to start immediately!-Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
