Job DescriptionAs a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server environments (eg, Linux, Red Hat, and CentOS) in support of the mission!Click APPLY to be contacted about this positionWhat You Will Be Doing: Providing technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools. Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Preparing required documentation (program-level and user-level). Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures. Performing technical evaluations and analysis. Supporting the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline. Assessing server loads and work with technical leads to develop tuning recommendations. Providing operational pager/phone duty support. Completing day-to-day Operations & Maintenance tasks. Perform operating system software updates, upgrades, and patches.Must Have: MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with the Full Scope Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances. Linux engineering experience in Red Hat, CentOS, and variants. Mid-level or greater development skills in Python and Ruby. Proficiency in manipulating the Linux command-line.Nice to Have: Experience with the following languages: Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Experience with configuration management software (eg, Ansible, Puppet Manifests, and Foreman). Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS. Experience with CaaS (eg, Kubernetes and OpenShift). Experience with LAMP.TekMasters considers people our most important asset.
