A$ A' "A' ?The Human Resources Manager, working with Vice President of HR and other HR team members, will focus on the facilitation of human resources day-to-day activities, benefit program management and project-based initiatives. The Manager draws upon their subject-matter expertise in such areas as human resources administration, benefits, compliance, and human resources information systems to provide guidance and support in the achievement of departmental and company goals.Essential Functions:Analyzes and monitors participation and effectiveness of benefit programs, including strategies for Service Contract Act staff.Serves as primary contact with providers including group health, workers compensation and retirement plans.Assures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits but not limited to IRS, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA and Health Care Reform.Manages workers compensation and safety efforts.Prepares and analyzes ongoing and ad-hoc reports for personnel information including turnover, applicant tracking, Affirmative Action/EEO, and compensation.Identifies trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or human resources operations.Directs and oversees HRIS to ensure data integrity and facilitate sound decision making.Supervises, develops and provides leadership to staff.Required Skills:Must be able to perform all functions using independent judgment and decision-making.Demonstrative analytical, time-management and prioritization skills.Must posses a strong background in Benefits Administration. Must possess a solid understanding of laws and regulations.Demonstrate a strong aptitude for communicating effectively with all levels of employees and organizational leadership.Must possess proficient skills using MS Office tools as well as HRIS (preferably Deltek or Costpoint) software systems.Must have the ability to handle personal data in a confidential manner.Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience with broad knowledge of HR operations management, benefits, and compliance.Prior supervisory experience, with demonstrated methods for mentoring the development of subordinates.Prior federal government contractor and Service Contract Act experience a strong plus. Required Education:Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, business administration or related discipline required.PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
