Experience with iterative design-test-improve cycle for product and manufacturing process developmentA cents € cents Capable of designing and building fixtures and jigs for both medical and diagnostic device manufacturing lines and projects including benchtop test stations for device mechanical integrity testingA cents € cents High level of mechanical aptitude and comfortable working in both research and manufacturing environmentsA cents € cents Capable of working independently and collaboratively with R&D, engineering and manufacturing teamsA cents € cents Experience writing and developing SOPs. Developing FDA and other regulatory documentation (IQ and OQ) for medical and diagnostic devices is a plusA cents € cents Must have excellent attention to detail and communication skillsResponsibilities:oDeveloping and optimizing microfabrication processes for laser, micro-CNC, Photolithography, 3-D Printing, chip bonding and chip replication technologiesoDesigning, fabricating and testing devices and tooling for scaling up and optimizing manufacturing processesA' oDeveloping CAD and CAM programs and executing design-build-test-improve cyclesA' oExecuting experiments and performing statistical analysis and reporting of experimental data for microfabrication and device manufacturingoDesigning and fabricating fixtures and tooling for development, prototyping and small to medium manufacturing processes.A' oDeveloping processes and documenting operating parameters for basic microfabrication operations including hot embossing, laser processing, micro-CNC. Commissioning new tools and equipment for use in Potomac's R&D labsoCollecting, analyzing and reporting QA/QC data from process development and small to medium volume batch manufacturing runs.oEvaluating batch records from production runs and developing relevant statistical analyses and reports..A' oPresenting experimental data and engineering analyses at regular technical review meetings.oWriting SOPs, IQs, OQs, product QA/QC ISO, FDA and other regulatory documents
