A$ A' "A' ?Job descriptionWe are looking for a energetic and driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team at the Hyatt Centric- Arlington Hotel. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for generating group room and meeting revenue by utilizing existing accounts and developing new business within a assigned territory through aggressive prospecting, direct sales calls and strategic partnerships. The essential functions of the role are but not limited to:Sells 100% of the time.Maintains appropriate balance of account maintenance and prospecting for new business.Establishes and maintains effective and profitable relationships with customers.Responsible for achieving both assigned market room night/revenue budget along with the top-line revenue goals for the hotel.Assists Director of Sales & Marketing with hotel-specific goals/strategies in assigned territory to positively impact revenues.Familiar with hotel's competitive set and shared accounts.Generates data, analyzes, and recommends strategies and actions within assigned territory to impact business.Communicates a clear sense of strategic direction and goals for assigned territories/markets.Incorporates marketing strategies into sales strategies, where appropriate.Communicates trends, changes in market mix and competitive hotel stratagem to Director of Sales & Marketing.Organizes and conducts sales trips and attends assigned market specific tradeshows, as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing.Work with Global Sales Team to communicate needs of the hotel, as appropriate.Keeps up on industry trends and seeks creative ways to infiltrate markets/accounts.Joins and attends appropriate industry/market organizations.Follow up on definite business for rooming list, EO's and complete group resume's.Attend staff meeting and BEO meetings to communicate expectations of the clients.Meet and greet clients the first day of the event.Perform other related duties as requested by the Director of Sales & Marketing.Practice safety standards and report unsafe conditions to the Director of Sales & Marketing.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or equivalent.Minimum (2) two years of college, degree desirable.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Prefer a minimum of two year's experience in hotel sales or related industry.Aggressive, outgoing and self-motivated individual with pleasant personality.Knowledgeable on all brand sales/revenue programs.Tenaciously owns sales group opportunities/promotional opportunities.Adept at on- property Sales and Catering System as well as PMS.Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Yearly bonusApplication Question(s):What are your salary expectations?Experience:hotel sales or related industry: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
