A$ A' "A' ?Electrical Design EngineerLocations : Hagerstown, MD/Forest City, Iowa/Wichita, Kansas/LouisianaPlease share your resume to Madhusudhan.k@ 1 JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for performing activities concerned with Designing schematics and harness 3D models, harness prints and installations (assembly Drawings) of Automotive/Onroad/offroad electrical/electronic systems and components.JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for performing activities concerned with the Designing schematics and harness 3D models, harness prints and installations (assembly Drawings) of Automotive/Onroad/offroad electrical/electronic systems and components.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design electrical schematics using Creo cabling, CAPITAL logic & XCUnderstand automotive/OnRoad/Off road vehicle electrical architectureUnderstand vehicle electrical systems and architecturePerforms detailed studies and design of vehicle electrical systems according to the Vehicle Specification, with emphasis on safety, reliability, cost and accuracy.Should be able to define appropriate mounting of electrical components.Should be able to produce electrical schematics using CAPITAL logic.Should be able to produce harness 3D model and print using Creo cabling, CAPITAL XCShould be able to navigate thru bigger assemblies and appropriate component placement.Should have prior experience in harness design and component placement related to vehicle electrical system.Creates and maintains design documentationParticipates in design reviews for interfacing systems and is responsible for ensuring the designs meet electrical system requirementsInteracts with vendors, purchasing, testing, manufacturing, and external suppliers as needed for the successful completion of projectsAttends weekly Design & Team project meetingsCritical Technical SkillsB.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent or Diploma (associate degree) in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of 3 years work experience in an electrical designer Highly developed computer skills using EE design and Microsoft Office softwareEngineering problem solving approachElectrical system design of vehicle Experience with mechanical systems and engines (doesn't have to be included in formal education)Product development experienceWire harness design experienceproficient with the CAD tools- Creo cabling, Option- CAPITAL logic & XC
