Job Details
Sparks Group has partnered with a full-service innovative health education company that is seeking a Deputy Warehouse Manager. This candidate will be expected to direct and control warehouse operations in their expansive storage facility located in Annapolis, Maryland. Responsibilities:
- Assist in continual enhancement of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in the facility
- Manage and stage the operational and logistical aspects of exhibits for clients
- Manage database for both incoming and outgoing inventory
- Plan and coordinate the transfer of materials to and from the warehouse
- Maintain accurate files of all contract deliverables, inventory, and audit reports, ensuring a high level of accuracy during government inspections
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- College degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of shipping, receiving, auditing, inventory control, and the type of items in the warehouse
- Demonstrated experience maintaining an automated inventory and control system required
- Supervisory experience working in the government contracting industry is preferred
