Job Summary/Company:

Sparks group has partnered with a national exhibition center for research into history and science in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. This organization is seeking a team of customer service representatives to act as the face for the center and warmly welcome all visitors. This is a full-time, contract position lasting 6 months.   • Scan visitors' electronic passes or hardcopy paper passes upon entry into the building
  • Serve as the first point of contact and pleasantly greet arriving visitors to ensure positive guest experience
  • Help control crowd density in the building by answering common questions and directing visitors to the correct location for more information
  • Send visitors or groups with problems with their passes to the appropriate staff for assistance
  • Comprehend and learn basic training on the use and care of the scanning equipment

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Retain basic information provided in training to fulfill duties efficiently on the job
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
