The primary purpose of this job is to perform mid-office operations to support PenFed's investment and portfolio management activities. Produce periodic performance reports of PenFed's Investment programs, and perform necessary tasks, such as securities pricing, market valuation and portfolio analysis, etc. to support PenFed's portfolio management needs. Perform periodic counterparty credit risk analysis on banks and insurance company exposures in the investment portfolio, as well as our derivatives counterparties. This includes both independent internal reviews and credit rating monitoring.Provide economic commentary and produce weekly capital market dashboard to senior management.Conduct research using tools such as Bloomberg and Intex to support Senior Manager in analyzing potential investment opportunities and portfolio rebalancing needs. Support Senior Manager in preparation of pre-purchase documentation.Liaise with PenFed's insurance broker to perform ongoing operation of Charitable Donation Account (CDA) and Credit Union Life Insurance Program (COLI), and to monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies.Identify and implement tasks required to ensure operational compliance with internal Policies & Procedures and board policies for the Investment portfolio program.Provide data and reports for internal and external audits/examinations.*This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.* Qualifications: Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.Bachelor's Degree in accounting, economics, finance, statistics or related field required.Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a financial services organization and/or fixed income investment is required.Proficiency in Bloomberg and Intex preferred.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis role will not directly supervise employees.Licenses and CertificationsThere are no additional certifications required.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* TravelAbility to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
