Assistant /Associate Professor of Latinx Studies - Environmental / Medical Soc or Anthro The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenured/tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Latinx Studies, to begin in the Fall of 2023 as part of a race, racism, and inequality cluster hire. We seek a social scientist whose work focuses on the topics of health disparities, climate change, or environmental justice as they relate to the experience of Latinx people in the United States. Additional scholarly themes that are of strong interest to the department include immigration and urban studies. Applicants should show evidence of an active and innovative research agenda. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Sociology and/or Anthropology courses in their area of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate level.
