Working within the Marketing team, the Event Marketing Manager will report into the Senior Marketing Events Manager and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of a variety of in-person marketing programs, including: trade shows, events and industry conferences hosted by Appian and third party vendors.
*Targeting candidates in the DMV area who are comfortable coming in to the office on a flexible, hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week).

Working within the Marketing team, the Event Marketing Manager will report into the Senior Marketing Events Manager and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of a variety of in-person marketing programs, including: trade shows, events and industry conferences hosted by Appian and third party vendors.

To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Have direct experience in planning and executing both small and large-scale events and trade shows
- Be able to execute all program and event elements, including: securing exhibit space, working with the exhibit house on trade show booth coordination and shipping, placing show orders and services, booth layout and design, sponsorships, collateral and graphics
- Be able to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization for input to help develop, promote, and execute event messaging and partnership opportunities
- Demonstrate program management skills including the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage a wide variety of projects
- Demonstrate strong budget management, logistics, and organizational skills

- Be able to travel up to 35%
