This position manages moderately-sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans in order to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices. The Senior SE Engineer provides systems engineering and integration support to asses, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition. Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine the appropriate resolution. This position communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively manage projects in this environment. A key purpose of this position is to manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades. Required Skills:Systems engineering support to elements of the intelligence community to include: *Systems installation, integration and test experience*Strong Systems Engineering technical abilities and project management skills*Requirements analysis demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor)*RFC impact review and assessment experience*Understanding of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices*Excellent written and oral communication skills *Advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management *An active and in-scope US TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraphDesired Skills:*Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods*Evidence of excellent customer relationships*Experience working across contract and location boundaries*Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence beneficial Required Education: Typically requires: A Bachelor's Degree (STEM Preferred) and minimum 8 years' prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of experience or relevant experience.
