Principal Associate, Chief of Staff Team - Compliance

As a member of the Chief of Staff (CoS) team, the Principal Associate will assist in both managing test reporting and managing communication and orchestration of team priorities for the Global Card, Enterprise Services, Privacy, and Third Party Compliance Team.

A successful team member is a highly motivated, forward thinking, self-starter who can work well with multiple stakeholders, is technologically adept, and a problem solver. The candidate chosen for this role will be expected to assist in driving the monthly test reporting process, and in supporting team engagement, projects, and process improvements for a large and complex organization.

The Principal Associate will possess the following skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, which are essential for interacting with the Senior Leadership Team and the broader team, and for managing reporting processes
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner; highly collaborative
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability work autonomously, against tight deadlines, and sometimes with loosely defined problems or team needs
  • Proven experience in operating with discretion when handling sensitive subject matter


The Principal Associate will own the following responsibilities:
  • Driving steps to complete compliance reporting for testing results across multiple lines of business
  • Assist the Chief of Staff with key team management needs:
    • Draft organizational communications (ie holiday messages, team updates, etc)
    • Ensure streamlined orchestration of People Agenda activities such as LT meetings, offsite planning, and All Hands events
    • Support people functions within the team, including leading initiatives to address associate engagement strategies
    • Enhance our intentional, team-oriented organizational culture
    • Identify opportunities within the organization where processes can be streamlined, automated, or improved
    • Support or drive ad hoc projects as needed


Basic Qualifications :
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Chief of Staff role


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Chief of Staff role serving a complex organization
