Manager, Technology Risk (Remote Eligible)

As a member of the Enterprise Product and Platform Technology (EP2 Tech) Chief of Staff (CoS) team, you will apply your analytical, risk management, and process management skills to support the Accountability Office (AO). Within the AO, the Technology and Cyber Risk Monitoring (TCRM) team facilitates, monitors, and reports on the health of the EP2 Tech technology compliance requirements, application risk assessments, technology exceptions, and vulnerability management. This position is looking for a highly motivated professional with excellent information technology (IT) system (a) risk management, (b) internal control, (c) process improvement, and (d) change management skills. This individual would be able to design, implement, and effectively operate innovative solutions, processes, and technology to identify, assess, and appropriately respond-to-mitigate actual or potential tech, cyber, or process risks to the enterprise.

As the Manager, Technology Risk, you will collaborate with a team of process managers to leverage technology systems to improve operational efficiency and drive results. You will create and sustain processes and micro-systems, while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each time.

This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects.

What you'll do:
  • Manage end-to-end (E2E) technology risk management - from performing risk assessments (e.g., identification, analysis, response), to defining policies and procedures as well as reviewing technology risk management activities
  • Partner with Cyber Risk Management to proactively perform vulnerability risk assessment and remediation as well as plan and communicate upcoming asks, groom intent, and evaluate progress
  • Interact with business counterparts and other Tech colleagues to ensure appropriate coverage of shared controls and/or shared processes
  • Proactively engage team members and project leads to ensure system changes or enhancements consider Audit controls and IT standards during design and through implementation
  • Review and verify governance documents and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness
  • Create and disseminate reports and metrics related to the risk environment to key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities and work with business stakeholders and partners to embed risk management practices into our daily operations and business processes across the organization
  • Use analytical skills to conduct Risk Process Assessment and Improvement, Data Process Design & Process Excellence
  • Lead designing, implementing, and operating an effective Continuous Process Improvement and Change Management program to advance EP2 Tech's process effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of Technology or Risk Management experience
  • At least 5 years of facilitating Technology Compliance or Regulatory Examinations


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
  • 3+ years experience delivering technology and system implementation programs
  • 3+ years experience with Technology or Cyber Risk Management
  • 3+ years experience with the regulatory framework governing the financial services industry
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Analytics
  • Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or similar risk management certification
