Aptive Resources is seeking a Junior Forms Developer who will support a large government project using machine learning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), form design and layout, model training, field identification, transcription, quality assurance and supervision tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions to extract data from images of documents.
- Assist other development team members to integrate data extraction operations with the overall automation solution.
- Identify the kinds of extractions needed (context, supervision, PII, etc) to satisfy client requirements for a wide range of data complexity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate should have 1 year experience in similar field
- Candidate should have Associates or working toward Bachelors
- Broad-based general technology ecosystem and industry understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Reliable Internet connection
- Work remotely with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions to extract data from images of documents using techniques such as Optical Character Recognition, Intelligent Character Recognition, Intelligent Form Recognition, etc
- 1+ years' experience with HyperScience software
- Experience with Government Clients
- VA Badge
- General knowledge and experience with working on automation software products
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork and facilitation
