Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer with Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORS) Administrator experience. This individual will perform a range of tasks related to requirements maintenance, development, and sustainment, continuous process improvement, risk management, process analysis and development, and system hardware and software life cycle sustainment and development.
In this important role, you will support the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation and Missile Center, Systems Simulation, Software, and Integration Directorate (S3I). S3I is charged with the sustainment and development of the Improved Data Modem (IDM). The IDM is a communication device for the Army rotorcraft digital fleet. It is an Airworthy hardware and software system. The S3I supports software sustainment for fielded IDM systems and an update to transition to the Aviation Mission Common Server (AMCS) multi-core implementation of IDM Software Application (ISA). You will make a difference in enhancing a fielded system that helps keep our military members safe. In the Government contracting realm, this privilege is as good as it gets.

Responsibilities
Work you'll do
As a Senior Systems Engineer within our Improved Data Modem (IDM) team, you will:
- Analyze system, software, and hardware specifications and interface documents to support transition of IDM to AMCS.
- Assist in the architecture, design, and modeling of the IDM software.
- Provide collaborative leadership to the IDM Systems Engineering Team and other functional teams.
- Provide leadership for interdisciplinary teams as required to resolve systems engineering issues.
- Requirement's design, development, maintenance, traceability, and management.
- Provide SE interface to project management as needed including planning, reporting, and tracking status to completion for all SE tasks.
- Perform Model-Based System Engineering to support the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation associated with the development of complex systems.
- Function as the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirement System (DOORS) administrator within the IDM System Design and manage the IBM Rational DOORS requirements database.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) and 14 years of experience OR
- Master's degree and 10 years of experience.
- Interim secret security clearance required on day one with the ability to obtain/maintain a secret security
