We're searching for a Membership Development Manager (MDM) who will plan an essential role responsible for growing the business by selling membership of the organization. The MDM will research individuals who would be an ideal fit for the Manufacturers Alliance's Council programs. This is a complete sales-cycle role, from generating leads to closing the business. Responsible for achieving an individual revenue quota Leverage sales tools to drive prospective members through the sales funnel Conduct discovery calls, understand customer needs, and align with the organization's value proposition Assist in managing the sales process from prospecting to closing, meeting, and exceeding goalsBuild relationships with target manufacturing companiesSupport the overall organization in its efforts for growth, which can include cross-departmental support Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree requiredExperience1-2 years in business development, membership development, or a sales roleUnderstanding of B2B sellingKnowledge or training in sales methodology (Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) preferredExperience in working with lead generation, CRM, or sales automation tools a plusExperience in selling services or membership a plus.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to communicate and interact with senior-level managementManage multiple opportunities and leads within a sales pipelineComfortable selling solutions rather than a series of benefits and featuresCoachable and winning attitude Creative thinker, able to formulate new ways to capture new business opportunities Self Motivated with a goal-orientated mindset Develop a deep understanding of the Manufacturers Alliance's core value and productsWorking ConditionsFully remote work environment with occasional face-to-face meetings and gatheringsTravel is required approximately 10-15% of the timeWorking at Manufacturers AllianceManufacturers Alliance offers an attractive compensation package for this position, which includes base salary plus commission.
