**Description:**Position Description Summary+ The Controls Specialist is responsible for configuring and programming software for DDC building automation and control systems.+ Interfacing with commercial building customers and contractors in a professional manner+ Performing periodic maintenance on service customers' controls systems (BAS front end, DDC controllers, end devices, etc)+ Responding to customer service calls (emergency, on-site, on-call, and on-line remotely)+ Troubleshooting and repairing control systems and end devices+ Backing up controller programs and BAS computers / servers+ Using service maintenance software program to document services provided to customers and to receive repair and maintenance assignments+ Communicating with the service coordinator for daily assignments+ Checking out and commissioning of controls systems on renovation work as assigned+ Executes system commissioning and functions+ Install of Various controls system**Skills:**BAS, BMS, Commissioning, Niagara ax, hvac system, installation, siemens control, distek, JCI**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Knowledge, Skills And Abilities+ Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.+ Excellent writing and computer skills with proficient knowledge of MSOffice applications.+ Ability to creatively resolve engineering and installation conflicts.+ Able to maintain diplomacy and professionalism while engaged in high pressure situations.+ Excellent time-management and organizational skills.+ Thorough understanding of automation and mechanical systems.+ Ability to write programming for automation systems.+ Understands networked systems.+ Ability to integrate systems on different platforms.+ Effective communicator.Education / Experience5 years experience in DDC controls, or building automation3-5 years in HVAC/BMC Controls**Experience Level:**Intermediate Level**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
