For more information, please visit Responsibilities: As a Capital Markets Managing Consultant on our Public Sector Financial Services team, your key responsibilities will include:You will act as a liaison between Guidehouse and Clients to provide securitized transactions advisory services.You will lead the program management team, drive business development for potential opportunities, and provide capital markets expertise on existing work.You will lead financial advisory tasks, including but not limited to drafting discussion papers, providing subject matter expertise in mortgage finance, specifically related to Ginnie Mae and the GSEs, managing experienced staff in completion of deliverables, final proofing of all deliverables, and maintaining client relationships.You will provide thought leadership for Guidehouse in the mortgage finance and housing industries. Qualifications: Required:9+ years' experience working consulting or working in mortgage finance and/or fixed income capital markets5+ years' experience acting in a managerial role/leading teams of 2 or more in the review and/or analysis of government and private institutions engaged in mortgage financeExcellent communication and writing skillsStrong understanding of Government mortgage finance programsStrong understanding of secondary and capital marketsStrong understanding of mortgage derivative products, particularly REMIC, SMBS, and callable securitiesBachelor's degree or higher in Business/Finance/Accounting/EconomicsPreferred:Financial Modeling experiencePMP certification or other certifications such as CPA or CFAAdvanced degree Additional Requirements: The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as describedDue to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire Disclaimer: About GuidehouseGuidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
