We are currently seeking a Full-Time Evening Medical Records Clerk to join our team at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center located in Smyrna, Delaware. Responsibilities: The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. Works closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentOne year of medical office experience preferredCurrent CPR Certification.Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferredMedical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferredComputer/Data Entry experienceAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available Shift: Monday - Friday from 1p-9:30p; 40hrs/week.
