Job Description Member of the Enterprise Test and Evaluation (T) Team responsible for providing JITC and Department of Defense (DoD) with automation support for testing enterprise services, primarily Enterprise Resource Planning (ERA), business systems. Works closely with customers to document current operating procedures and support their projected operational needs. May serve as an expert in aspects of software design, development, and maintenance and will support multiple development teams and systems. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Assists in the formulations of procedures and best practices for users of applications and systems.Responsible for:*Using programming skills to create/modify/update/document MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) scripts supporting automated testing.*Using MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) automated test tools to perform testing of enterprise systems.*Following Agile Scrum practices.*Planning, executing, data collecting, analyzing, and reporting to evaluate and report on the Enterprise services system under test (SUT), and research and development for enterprise testing efforts.*Taking periodic mandatory training courses provided through the agency, required by statute, regulation, DoD, or DISA policy.*Developing, supporting, and integrating best practices and technology standards.Qualifications Required Education, Training, and Experience (LCAT requirements):Qualification*Requires an Associate degree; a minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or at least 6 years of experience. Degree/education should be in Computer Science, Information Management or related field. Related certifications in specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience. Experience must be related to the job duties.*Analytical and critical thinking skills.*Quality oral and written communication skills.*Secret clearance or the ability to get a Secret clearance.*Must be agile and flexible to quickly learn and become proficient in the use of new software applications and tools.*Must be agile and flexible in meeting cAstomer requirements, including helping define new requirements requiring significant coordination and planning.*Must be able to understand and develop basic programs/scripts in Java, C, JavaScript, VBscript or other programing languages.*Must have practical and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Preferred:*Experience in systems administration.*Ability to read and analyze network traffic.*Proficient with MicroFocus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE).*Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate authentication.*Familiarity with Enterprise Security such as McAfee Endpoint Security.*Ability to diagnose issues related to communications and enterprise security measures. Essential Functions: Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.Work EnvironmentAn inside and outside environment (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.Equipment and MachinesAbility to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.AttendanceCore work hours will be between 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.Other Essential FunctionsMust demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary.
