Responsibilities: The network engineer will be responsible for supporting the refresh of a the global network infrastructure for a federal client. This include the development, test, implementation, and deployment of configured network equipment. This position will also require coordination with on site support staff to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation of equipment on site. Qualifications: The following skills/experience/knowledge are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:Active Secret Clearance minimum clearance required7+ years of relevant experienceKnowledge and Experience with Cisco ProductsCisco Platform for Internet Testing (PIT) routersCisco Aggregate routersInternet Key Exchange V2 (IKEV2)Routing configuration in IPV4 and IPV6Understanding of DNS, SMTP, NNTP, DHCP, Firewalls and VPN (IPSEC)Understanding of the technology behind routers, hubs, bridges, and switchesUnderstanding of remote access servers and terminal serversExceptional customer service skillsCommunications Skills - oral and writtenExcellent Problem Solving SkillThe following skills/experience/knowledge are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:Experience delivering services to federal clientBachelors degree preferredAssociated technical certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCNE, CISSP.
