Overview: Job Summary: The Lead Developer supports the organization's existing software or systems infrastructure. Responsible for identifying and implementing applications to ensure the best experience for the user.The Developer Lead will work with business financial teams, and lead the Oracle EPM development and support teams, to provide innovative solutions to enable financial planning and budgeting functionality in Oracle EPM cloud technology. The lead developer is expected to have a high level of the financial planning and close process understanding to guide the business teams in leveraging the EPM functionality and adopt best practices.The Oracle EPM Support Team at Allegis Group is responsible for FCCS, EDMCS, and 4 ePBCS applications. The responsibility of the lead is to work closely with the support team on daily incidents, and requests, and also guide the development team on upcoming and continuing features.Requires education or equivalent work experience that has provided knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts of the discipline. Responsibilities: Essential Functions:Building and implementing Hyperion/Oracle EPM toolset, with a combination of technical understanding and business knowledge to deliver value to our business partners.Building and maintaining Financials, and Workforce modules providing planning and reporting capabilities across the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and other functional areas leveraging standard approaches provided by Oracle.Building prototypes, creating process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), work on testing and training activities, provide postproduction support and resolve issuesResponsible for Financial planning process in Oracle and Reporting for Actual, Budget, and Forecast scenariosResponsible for Financial close process in OracleDevelop functional specifications and complete object development and testing including creating and maintaining documentationManage all Oracle service tickets and testing solutionsProvide guidance and support to the applications support team in resolving issues with Oracle planning tool and Oracle close managerCollaborate with other IT functions to ensure solutions are well designed, integrated and aligned with other functions and IT roadmapCoordinate technical changes across various onsite and offshore teamsDelivering on business solutions on scope, on schedule and on the committed cost Qualifications: Supervisory or Management Responsibility:Lead EPM Support Team by assisting with daily incidents, weekly maintenance, and customer requests.Lead EPM Development Team by performing code reviews, approving design, and validating proper agile framework adherence.Minimum Education and/or Experience:At least 5 years of relevant Oracle development experience implementing Oracle EPM or Hyperion applications with prior functional experience.Skills/Abilities:Excellent functional knowledge of Oracle planning tool and a basic knowledge of Finance process in other ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP.Exposure to building custom dimensions like alternate reporting hierarchies within OracleAbility to be a change agent and promote positive change in the organizationAttentive to detail but able to see the big picture; good business process background and acumenExposure to excel financial models, systematic forecasting & reporting processes.Some understanding of data integrations from ERP to Cloud architecture.Good working knowledge in forecasting process/timing (annual budget, monthly forecast, quarterly long-range forecast) and reporting needs including Scenario and Time Period variancesA good business understanding of financial concepts (P, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Allocations).Understanding of SDLC phases (requirements, functional testing, data validations, production migration, user training, post go-live enhancements, reporting) across several forecasting/reporting initiatives, such as Balance Sheet, Budgeting cycles etc.Extensive experience as an application developer, should have participated in several initiatives with technical skills to deliver value-add solutions to business-critical forecasting and reporting processesKnowledge of design and implementation of technology-enabled business solutionsKnowledge of IT business processes and practicesStrong interpersonal skills - effective listening and teaming, self-motivated, demonstrated a bias for actionCore Competencies:Build relationshipsDevelop peopleLead changeInspire OthersThink criticallyCommunicate clearlyCreate accountability
