Responsibilities: The Global Health and Financial Solutions team is seeking a Sr. Network and Computer Systems Engineer (Network Load Balancer) to support the Information Technology Services Desk and Engineering department for a Contract at U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. Peraton is providing maintenance and operational IT support that includes engineering services for the systems, equipment, hardware, and software. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. Every day, our employees do the can't be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers. What you'll do:Performs load balancer support, infrastructure design and integration. Develop and implement recommendations for improved network performance. Monitor and report on network traffic activities in accordance with HHS OIG requirements for immediate escalation/notification and/or statistical reporting. Implement F5 load balancing appliances, manage F5 rule settings and changes within the HHS OIG environment, and coordinate with external HHS OIG customers. Primary focus will be on the design and implementation of enterprise Load Balancing solutions, SSL Certificate Management and Authoritative DNS Services. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years, Masters degree with 6-8 years, PhD with 3-5 years OR a combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree. What you'll need:5+ years of experience as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator2+ years experience with DNS.2+ years experience on overall F5 Load Balance.Preferred Qualifications:Able to support and maintain the F5 Load Balancer infrastructure. Able to provide Level 3 support and direction for production related issues. For Colorado Residents: Colorado Salary Minimum: $79,000 Colorado Salary Maximum: $191,700 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
