Responsibilities: Work with the product owner to gather, analyze, design, and document product requirements for a new IT solutionEvaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas of improvement, and develop functional solutionsResponsible for creating/updating documents required as part of an agile system development lifecycle including epics, features, user stories, detailed functional specifications, and inputs for technical designCoordinate with the technical development team to ensure complete understanding of functional specificationsReview/edit requirement specifications, business processes and recommendations related to the client's proposed solutionSupport the business by becoming a Subject Matter Expert on the product/solutionSupport user-centered design activities such as end-user focus groups and usability analysisFacilitate meetings and discussion as needed during the project lifecycleDevelop education & outreach materials including user guides and other external communicationsPrioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirementsSupport product testing efforts including user acceptance testingAssist in capturing meeting minutes Qualifications: Experience with agile software development projectsExperience in analyzing the business and functional impact of change requests (CRs)Experienced with CMS XLC process including the CR processExperience working on Federal programs that are of high priority, visibility, and public-facingMust possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, being able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with othersStrong organizational skills to prioritize issues to perform proactive planning activities, ability to function in a complex environmentMust be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracyAble to work under minimal supervisionExcellent writing skills and ability to produce polished written productsClose attention to formatting detailsAbility to translate technical information into clear documents to be used by a variety of audiencesProven knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and AccessPlus for Senior Business Analyst:Experience and knowledge working in detecting and managing healthcare fraud, waste, and abuseExperience and knowledge with CMS Provider Integrity domainExperience with business process modeling tools Education: Bachelors of Science or Associate Degree in IT or related fieldClearance:Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance Location:Remote
