Overview: TISTA is looking for candidates who will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, deliver mission critical infrastructure, and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. The candidate should be comfortable speaking to and advising technical and leadership staff, able to communicate effectively with technical and business professionals by applying analytical trouble shooting skills. Our qualified IT Specialist will have a strong background in IT with expertise in Windows Systems Administration, O365, laptops. The IT Specialist is responsible for a broad range of systems administration and systems engineering tasks in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment. Responsibilities: Maintain and support Microsoft Windows environment including windows server OS, desktop OS, Office 365Manage Azure AD, SharePoint, MS teams, One Drive and Azure VDI is a plusAbility to automate tasks using PowerShell scriptingIdentify the gaps within the existing SOP and update them periodicallyRespond to requests for IT support from employees, and track these problems using the Freshservice ticketing management system until complete resolution is attainedWork closely with the Helpdesk team and provide the solution for all escalated ticketsWork closely with the multiple project and security teams Qualifications: 5+ years of proven working experience in the IT industryVery strong computer skills, especially working experience with Dell laptopsVery strong working experience with installing, configuring, upgrading Windows 10, patch management, and BitLocker encryptionVery strong working knowledge with software deployment and automation of tasksExperience with virtualization using VMware and Azure VDICloud administration experience with Azure and AWSVery strong working experience with O365Knowledge of ITIL Framework, ISO 20000Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT problemsWorking experience with Mac computers and their deploymentFamiliarity with SolarWinds N-Able solutions, Trend Micro File Encryption, SolarWinds Take Control PlusGood customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experienceExperience responding to requests for IT support from employees and tracking these problems using the Freshservice ticketing management system until complete resolution is attainedDetail oriented including updating all service tickets with detailed notesExperience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems and providing effective solutionsProactive and excited to learn new things and quickly adapt to changes Education:Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 5+ years relevant experienceMicrosoft MCP, Apple ACSP, CompTIA Network+ certifications are desired Preferred skills:Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification is a plusITIL 4 Certification is a plus Location: Rockville, MD
