Overview: BOOST is helping one of our teaming partners hire a Records Analyst to assist a federal client in the department-wide modernization of their federal records program. You will be supporting a project team that is tasked with updating records schedules, assessing agency-wide records management processes, and implementing electronic records management solutions. You will be responsible for supporting stakeholder coordination, meeting facilitation, project reporting, and other records management activities. Responsibilities: Serving as a trusted records advisor to help the client and records stakeholders navigate the daily challenges of a records management programSupporting the transformation of departmental records management processes and addressing key challenges posed by the transition to an electronic records environmentSupporting file organization, tagging, and automated disposition of agency electronic recordsAssessing RIM programs to define current-state and recommend program enhancementsDemonstrating proficiency in the full records management lifecycle, leveraging different RIM tools/systems and ensuring RIM functionality, applying and advising on records disposition schedules, and email managementDeveloping training and communication materials in support of records management program objectivesFacilitate client meetings and record key decisions and actionsDevelop program status reports Qualifications: Experience Requirements 3+ years' experience in RIM or archives managementBachelor's degreeKnowledge of current federal records management authorities, mandates, and practicesExperience developing, delivering, and managing records inventories, records control schedules, file plans, and disposition proceduresUnderstanding of how to manage and organize records within SharePointUnderstanding of federal records retention and disposition requirementsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft SharePoint for document management and collaborationPersonal RequirementsAbility to critically apply subject matter expertise to complicated agency challengesAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnelWork Authorization Requirements US citizenshipAvailability to work on-site in Washington, DC (currently 100% remote for the pandemic)Preferred QualificationsExperience in the Federal Government or as a federal consultantFamiliarity configuring and managing disposition policies using records management applications BOOST is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
