Responsibilities: Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator in support of our Corporate Operations. Responsibilities include:Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involvedAct as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from clients or other employeesAssist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usageOrganize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardwareMaintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as the date of completionAttend in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problemsResolve technical issues related to network interruptionsInstall and configure computer systems and applications within the companyResponsible for in-depth knowledge, maintenance requirements, and system configuration of desktop operating systems Qualifications: Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Business or a related IT field or a HS Diploma with 6-8 years or relevant experience.DoD 8570 Certification (Sec +, CASP, CISSP)Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large companyExperience working with different operating systemsComfortable working in and assisting others through company IT Service Management platformExcellent time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolutionAbility to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficientlyConsummate professional in correspondence and interaction with customers and clientsActive Top Secret/SCI Clearance with PolygraphDesired QualificationsITIL Foundation CertificationScripting experience - PowerShell preferred. Solid experience with Group Policy Objects (GPOs), writing and troubleshooting, including software deployment and security settings and configurations. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, software packages and products, including working knowledge of Windows 10 Working knowledge and understanding of Desktop operating systems methodologies (file system, registry, services, etc.), as well as system tools and remote desktop support.
