A$ A' "A' ?Overview:The Project Engineer will lead the engineering team with advanced degrees of direct project responsibilities while maintaining an in-depth knowledgebase of the telecommunications site development process. Project work will focus on new site development of macro and small cell sites, the modification of existing telecommunications facilities, fiber optic networks, and other project types as required. Responsibilities will focus on the accurate and efficient production of engineering deliverables and maintaining effective job flow while managing multiple projects. Project Engineer assists the Engineering Market Manager with the delegation of assignments, resource allocation, personnel management, and the oversight of quality and timeliness of deliverables while utilizing an understanding of client-specific telecommunications equipment and their usage. Advanced problem solving and analytics will be employed and shared with the team as well as mentorship and training.Responsibilities:Supervise, manage and perform quality analysis and quality control for team of engineers in the production of electrical calculation reports, design drawings, construction drawings, cost estimates and other contract documents for various telecommunication structures, buildings, EV charging stations and utility structuresOversee development of construction plans for telecommunications client equipment upgrades and modificationsAssist Engineering Market Manager with final review of production deliverables and professionally endorse (sign and/or seal) reports, plans, and other contract documents as neededSupervise, manage, engineer and designUnderstand and perform calculations conforming to building code requirements for electrical design and analysisCommercial and Residential Power DistributionExperience performing load calculations and interpreting power/load studiesBackup power experience - Experience designing backup power systemsAbility to create complex one-line diagrams, fault current calculations, and Panel schedulesGeneral understanding of aerial and underground AC power distribution fundamentalsExtensive Grounding experience and ability to calculate resistance potential for site specific soilsExperience designing telecommunications grounding or lightning protection systems, including soil resistance testing & calculationsAbility to interpret electrical requirements from equipment specification sheetsFamiliarity with DC power plants & battery banksInteract with internal multi-disciplinary team members to expedite project completion and approvalsCreate effective job flow by tracking assigned tasks and prioritizing completion of assignments accordinglyMaintain NB+C CAD standards and templatesRoutinely produce accurate drawings promptly and efficientlyLearn new telecommunications equipment and client-specific equipment and their usageEvaluate designs for constructabilityPerform, review and approve electrical calculation reports, construction drawings, and other construction contract documents with a high level of accuracy and strict attention to detailCollaborate with Engineering Market Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, effective, and innovative approach to meet the client's needsProvide guidance and training to junior engineering team membersConduct annual performance appraisals in Saba Cloud for the engineering staff, including goal setting, career pathing and ongoing feedbackCollaborate with Engineering Market Manager to identify and correct project performance issuesAssist the Engineering Market Manager with the daily operations of the engineering teamQualifications:B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
