HIDA members deliver essential medical products such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the nation's hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories, home care, and physician practices.Established in 1902, HIDA is a leading voice on matters important to the healthcare distribution industry as well as the healthcare supply chain as a whole. HIDA offices are located in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and operates on a 3 days in-office, 2 days remote schedule.HIDA is seeking a Director of Membership for its Post-Acute and Homecare member portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for managing distributor and associate member engagement and participation within assigned markets, council management, and event participation.A' This position reports to the Senior Director of Membership.Essential Responsibilities:A cents € cents Implement corporate membership strategies, plans and tactics to promote the value of HIDA membership for members in portfolio;A cents € cents Develop and implement programs to ensure the involvement of key member companies;A cents € cents Lead council activities for the assigned markets.A' Assist council members with business to business dialogue and ensure they are regularly engaged in the councils;A cents € cents Provide customer feedback, representing the voice of the customer into services/value;A cents € cents In collaboration with marketing team, develop all market-specific outreach and collateral material to effectively communicate the value of HIDA membership;A' A cents € cents Implement event attendance strategies to promote registrations;A cents € cents Identify ways to increase member value at events;A cents € cents Develop knowledge of member needs and integrate them through innovative strategies to meet the established retention goals;A cents € cents Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:A cents € cents Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in the post-acute and/or home care industry would be a plus;A cents € cents Proven skill/success building relationship with corporate executives;A cents € cents Successful sales and/or account management track record;A cents € cents Outstanding communication (oral and written) influencing and relationship building skills;A cents € cents Exceptional time management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines;A cents € cents Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;A cents € cents Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to a high level of customer service;A cents € cents Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with short deadlines, demonstrating a flexible approach;A cents € cents Some travel is required.
