A$ A' "A' ?We are working with one of the top paying companies in the area to hire a Process Control Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting and managing capital projects for process and packaging equipment involving programming, engineering, integration, and creation of related PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo controllers, robotics, and industrial networking devices. RESPONSIBILITES:Responsible for maintaining mission-critical automation infrastructure and technologies for a highly automated distribution centerProvide technical leadership and ownership of automation technologies. Supports warehouse execution system (WES),material handling equipment (MHE), automatic guided vehicles (AGV) and automated industrial gantry robotMonitor equipment health and perform preliminary troubleshooting when needed with limited supervisionQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's, or higher, degree in Electrical, Industrial, Systems or Manufacturing Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology or information technology.Relevant production and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing plant or distribution setting (co-op and internship experience will be considered).Knowledge of industrial controls equipment, including PCs, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, field instrumentation, and industrial communication devices/protocols.Knowledge of process and/or packaging equipment.Experience writing accurate technical documentation.
