Job Summary:This is a hands-on position that provides direct support in the Rockville, MD, US headquarters to our offices-based and work-from-home personnel in the United States. As a multinational biotechnology company, we are seeking an Associate Manager/Manager (title will be commensurate with experience) who is familiar with US HR requirements (labor, benefits, recruiting, safety, and training) to be mainly responsible for the day-to-day US HR operations and being part of the global HR team developing a progressive, innovative, and high-performing HR organization to retain quality talent in line with the company's dynamic and collaborative culture. This position line reports to the US operations head and dot reports to the HQ HR Vice President. Key Responsibilities: A' . Manages the talent acquisition process, onboarding, and orientations to ensure new hire success.A' . Manages payroll (ADP workforce), compensations, and benefits programs (ie, healthcare, supplemental insurances, 401(k), employee appreciation). A' . Ensures compliance with all federal and state employment laws and recommended best practices and partners with the legal department as needed/required. A' . Supports employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in compliance with the policy.A' . Supports the employee performance evaluation process. A' . Promotes employee relations by demonstrating compassion and understanding while following the established and trained policies, procedures, and tools.A' . Provide US HR data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs and ensures the budget and yearly forecast are on-target monthly A' . Manages human resources policies and procedures, develops, and conducts relevant HR training for business units, and follows up to ensure training objectives are met.A' . Provides HR programmatic support, thought partnership and coaching to all levels of the organization when appropriate. Partners closely with global HQ HR partners on global strategy and executionA' . Coaches HR staff A' . Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies: A' . Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.A' . Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education & Experience: A' . Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fieldA' . 7+ years of HR experience required, including experience managing benefits programs (healthcare and 401(k))A' . 2+ years of management experience requiredA' . Experience in using multiple sourcing sites and being comfortable with social media platforms.A' . Experience with ADP Workforce or other HRIS toolsA' . SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferredA' . Experience in Lifesciences and/or Biotechnology industry strongly preferred
