Located in the heart of downtown Baltimore, our client is home to some of the most talented artists, strategists, planners, buyers, inventors, writers, and programmers in the area. The incumbent's primary goal is to develop and implement the people strategy in alignment with the agency goals. This role sits on the Sr. Leadership team and champions initiatives that support the business in a fast-paced and fun culture.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A cents € cents Develops and communicates HR goals, objectives, and programs with a focus on culture,employee engagement, retention, and business growthA cents € cents Plans and manages all HR processes and activitiesA cents € cents Oversees payroll and compliance; ensures overall agency compliance with all relevant lawsA cents € cents Establishes trust with employees, managers and Sr. Leadership; coaches and advisesA cents € cents Leads the Compensation Committee: comp strategy, ranges, incentives and internal growthA cents € cents Leads strategy for employee benefits including 401(k), in conjunction with brokers and advisorsA cents € cents Workforce planning, job description development, and recruiting via Linkedin, in partnership with hiring managersA cents € cents Leads and directs the interview, offer and onboarding processes for new employeesA cents € cents Leads and educates others on performance management tools and 360 annual review process, working directly with Sr. Leadership and managers on all employee relations issuesA cents € cents Provides manager training and facilitates staff development opportunities for new and existing employees in conjunction with Sr. LeadershipA cents € cents Leads and facilitates Planit's Mentorship ProgramA cents € cents Leads our Culture Committee to create meaningful initiatives and events that facilitateconnection and employee engagementA cents € cents Connects regularly with our network of national agency partners on agency trends, processes, data and administration of our annual Gallup Engagement Survey; works with Sr. Leadership on Gallup action plansA cents € cents Serves as a member of Planit's DE&I TeamA cents € cents Leads Internship program with support from department Director(s) and Intern Manager(s)A cents € cents Manages Planit's pandemic transition plans and hybrid workforceA cents € cents Creation of effective policies in collaboration with ownership and Sr. LeadershipA cents € cents Risk and insurance administration A cents € cents Supervises HR Generalist, who manages HRIS, Payroll, Benefits processes and systems,invoices, event preparation and purchasing, job postings, candidate screening, and moreA cents € cents Additional responsibilities as neededQUALIFICATIONS:A cents € cents Bachelor's degree in business/management or other related field and 8 years of HumanResources experienceA cents € cents Experience in an HR manager role or higher to confidently drive initiatives and motivate othersA cents € cents Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of a group,presenting at quarterly Agency meetingsA cents € cents Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on respectfulness and confidentialityA cents € cents Strong ability to provide sound and complete recommendationsA cents € cents Proven track record of successful employee program implementationA cents € cents Effectively manages ambiguity and supports creative solutions for a fast-paced creativeenvironmentA cents € cents Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in an ever-changing,fast-paced environmentA cents € cents Current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislationA cents € cents Ability to read, analyze, and interpret outside compliance resources, HR reports, and internal documentsA cents € cents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the advertising communityA cents € cents Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-CP) or HRCI (PHR) certification desiredA cents € cents Comfortable networking and recruiting via Linkedin and social channelsA cents € cents Strong experience with spreadsheets and word documents (Google-based)A cents € cents HR Systems experience a plus: Paylocity, 15Five, Interested and potentially qualified candidates can contact Hannah Weiss at hweiss@.
