We want you to build a career and grow with us.Summary:This remote position will work autonomously and be accountable for participating in projects from inception to completion while ensuring all project/business objectives are met. This individual will assist in the development of the overall project plan and participate in the deployment of all applications, deliverables, products, and services as part of our projects.Duties Include: This remote position as an Airborne Operator plays a key role in the Data Acquisition projects. The Airborne Operator is responsible for operation of LiDAR, digital imagery systems and GPS instruments on a helicopter platform, coupled with planning, monitoring and reporting key components of the airborne operation.Duties:Research daily PDOP spikes, sun angles and weather forecastsDetailed flight line planningIn- aircraft equipment alignment, calibration, and testingOperating airborne LiDAR, digital imagery systems and GPS instrumentsRecord and update flight logs and daily reportsMonitor the quality of GPS, image data, and pilot's flight performanceRoutine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser sensor, GPS equipment and other in-flight equipmentPost flight, check navigation trajectories to see if anything was missedAssist with the installation of airborne laser sensor equipmentParticipate in the quality management system, by working to document processes and procedures, plus offering recommendations on improvement opportunitiesParticipate in pre-flight and post flight safety checksAssist in the review and documentation of the processes and procedures with the Field Operations business unit Requirements:A' . A University degree or college diploma, related to the Geomatics industryA' . Experience within a field operations environment, with aerial survey technologies utilizing digital photography, LiDAR and / or IFSARA' . Understanding of aerial survey technologiesA' . Experience with Microsoft Office productsA' . Ability to work as a critical member of an operating teamA' . Knowledge of set up, operation and breakdown of GPS ground station equipmentA' . Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentA' . Keen analytical and problem solving skillsA' . Excellent communication and presentation skills
