This position has flexibility in choosing which two days, in addition to Wednesday, will be worked in the Silver Spring, MD office.GENERAL SUMMARY:The Loan Servicing Transaction Specialist processes and disburses Residential Mortgage portfolio loan escrow payments for insurance and taxes. Assists in the escrow analysis process regarding excess escrow refunds. Processes incoming wire payments/payoffs. Pays off Residential Held for Sale loans. Review and maintenance Participation loan rates & transactions against lead bank notices. Processes the monthly fee payment for Monitored Lines of Credit (LOC). Issues checks to refund overage payment to the borrowers. Assists with providing information for credit reference or audit confirmation. Process customers' credit bureau disputes through E-Oscar.REQUIRED:High School diploma or equivalent.A minimum of 3 years loan servicing experience, preferably with Residential escrow disbursements/administration and loan participation/syndication transaction processing experience.Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments, external vendors, and third parties.Knowledge of Microsoft Office primarily MS Word and MS Excel.Understanding and demonstrated experience with loan servicing core systems and applications.Understanding of loan servicing functions, including researching Credit Bureau disputes including the E-Oscar system, disbursing escrow funds to pay taxes and insurance, etc.Don't meet all the requirements?
