The Director of Marketing will oversee the company's marketing and communications efforts to drive sales, generate leads and build brand awareness.As the Director of Marketing you will:? Lead the development of the company's Marketing strategy and plan. ? Oversee and direct strategies and tactics around products, pricing, positioning, placement, competitive analysis, market data and dynamics for Wittenbach products and solutions.? Oversee and direct all communications strategies and activities including website and SEO optimization, social marketing activities, and collateral development.? Manage internal marketing team and external vendors.Strategic Planning and Execution? Create both strategic and tactical marketing communications plans to achieve branding, imaging, and other key marketing goals. Supervise execution of said plans.? Develop and maintain a consistent and productive relationship with customers utilizing both print and electronic media, including innovative, appropriate strategies using social networking sites.? Manage the use of external resources as they pertain to the marketing and communications function (eg, SEO firm, printers, web designers, etc.)? Work closely with Senior Leadership and Sales Team to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies and approaches.Demand and Lead Generation & Product Communication? Develop a robust lead-generation program and process that is based on a solid understanding of customer needs and buying cycles.? Develop social media calendar to support lead-generation program.? Spend time traveling in the field to understand the communication preferences of the account managers and customers. Execute on that understanding with relevant and high-impact marketing collateral.? Understand the banking and commercial environment and the communication preferences of each customer base.Social Media? Develop rolling 6-month social media plan for generating coverage via proactive pitching around trending topics (both industry-specific, and larger events)? Support HR to deploy brand narrative into employment brand to drive recruitment and employee retention and satisfactionDepartment Management? Manage internal marketing resources and team (Marketing Manager, Inside Sales, Consumables sales team)? Develop and manage the annual budget based on carefully planned needs in communications, advertising, promotions, and media relationsIn order to be successful in the role you must possess:BA degree in marketing or related field, MBA preferredA minimum of 15+ years of proven marketing leadership in B2B industries with technical and/or service focus. Must include strategic planning, communications planning and management, marketing, and website development and optimization.Fluency in Office 360, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
