The Ford Agency is looking for an experienced Generalist to join the HR team of a prestigious firm. This individual will work closely with the CHRO and leadership in overseeing an array of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. It's an excellent opportunity for a true generalist to take on a substantive role that offers professional development and leadership opportunities. Responsibilities Include: Implement the firm's office policies and procedures, ensuring that they comply with EEO regulations and applicable state and Federal laws Manage the recruitment process (screen, interview, conduct background checks, and select candidates) Assist attorneys and managers in communicating performance reviews to employees and with handling employee complaints Assist with the onboarding process and benefits administration Qualifications Include: Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred 3+ years of previous Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity Law firm setting preferred Experience with full-cycle recruiting Experience with employment law and EEO guidelines Strong communication skills and customer service The Ford Agency is a recruiting firm based in Washington, DC We represent a broad range of organizations including: non-profits, associations, legal, consulting, and government relations firms.
