Project types include: Commercial Interiors, Corporate Interiors/Workplace, Government, Healthcare, Retail Responsibilities:Collaborate on commercial interiors projects, from programming to conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedulesDevelop space planning conceptsParticipate in selection of furniture systems and specificationsProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionDevelop construction documents and specifications.Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field1-3 years of related experience as an interior designer with a focus on commercial interiors. Residential experience will not suffice for this position. Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materialsWorking knowledge of AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability to create graphic presentationsAbility to communicate design ideas and take direction quicklyStrong organizational, communication and relationship management skillsSalary Insight: estimated pay ranges from $55,000 - $65,000, can be flexible depending on the person and experience!
