Description SOX Compliance ProfessionalTo $150,000 plus bonusMy client is a publicly traded $bn telecoms group looking to hire a new SOX Compliance Professional with detailed exposure to technical accounting, SOX compliance, and financial statement reporting. Responsibilities include:. Develop methodology for reviewing financial reporting and processes to ensure compliance with the SOX.. Create the strategy for determining levels of risks associated with financial applications and business processes.. Establish criteria for review of financial transactions or reporting for multiple countries/segments of operation.. Create formulas to determine level of risk and materiality to the company.. Oversee process improvements to ensure SOX compliance.. Assess all financial reporting to ensure there are no SOX issues.. Establish financial controls, reviewing financial reports and presenting findings to executive leadership.. Consult and train company leaders on control identification, improvement and documentation to ensure SOX audit. objectives are met and risk and controls are appropriately identified.. Create training materials and conducting training sessions about SOX requirements.. Provide guidance to the company on SOX provisions by serving as the organizational expert on SOX.. Explain SEC guidance regarding management reporting on internal controls over financial reporting.. Giving direction on the PCAOB Auditing Standard No. 5 regarding external audit requirements.. Develop strategic plans and oversees the execution of process improvement initiatives..
