Description Robert Half is searching for a sharp, and highly efficient Jr. Accountant to perform daily accounting functions, including generating invoices in an ERP environment.Responsibilities include:+ Generate invoices in an ERP environment (Costpoint experience preferred)+ Facilitate delivery of invoices as required including entry into a third-party electronic billing portal such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) + Monitor receivables and facilitate receipt of payments through customer contact + Resolve discrepancies with customers and engage other appropriate internal resources as necessary to assist in resolution + Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to the general ledger + Application of customer prepaid to corresponding invoice + Process invoices in a manufacturing ERP environment + Perform 3-way match on purchases of inventory + Communicate with internal Purchasing and Receiving personnel in resolution of variances + Ensure proper coding and timely posting of G& A invoices + Reconcile accounts payable ledger to the general ledger + Process monthly vendor credit card payments/statements + Preparing Credit Application requests + Apply daily receipts to corresponding customer receivable + Record deposits received from customers + Apply daily ACH and wire disbursements to corresponding payable + Perform daily reconciliation of bank to book cash balances + Ensure proactive approach to resolution of outstanding checks + Reconciliations of various GL accounts + JE preparation and posting + Assist with financial statement analysis and audits Potential additional responsibilities could include + Accounts Receivable+ Accounts Payable Requirements Requirements:+ Solid understanding of Costpoint preferred.+ Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills+ Competent with spreadsheets and databases+ Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills+ Great attention to detail+ BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics+ Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines+ Recent and relevant accounting experience+ Knowledgeable of ERP systems+ Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment+ Proficient with spreadsheets and databases+ Self-starter and strong ethical standards+ Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and internally with sales, operations, and management + Billing experience in a government contracting environment.+ Experience with WAWF and other electronics billings portals for invoice submissions.
