Senior Transfer Credit CoordinatorThe George Mason University Office of Admissions is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Senior Transfer Credit Coordinator to evaluate and process undergraduate transfer credit for incoming Mason students and support credit evaluations for INTO Mason students. The office seeks a customer service-driven individual interested in joining the Transfer Credit Evaluation Team who will build and maintain relationships with prospective and current students; answering their transfer credit questions via email. This individual will evaluate and process transfer credit to incoming Mason students. They will perform unofficial transfer evaluations in support of INTO undergraduate and graduate pathways. The candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with other team members across the university and the Admissions Office to ensure excellent customer service and drive enrollment among diverse student populations. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience;Detail-oriented;Ability to prioritize tasks in a hectic, deadline-driven environment often working on multiple tasks concurrently;Superior written and oral communication skills;Demonstrated analytical skills;Ability to research data to make decisions;Computer literacy and willingness to learn new software applications;Proven ability to work positively as a team member;Previous experience working in an office setting;Comfortable working with diverse populations; andAvailable for occasional evening and weekend work.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience with Ellucian Banner software;Previous experience with Salesforce CRM;Previous experience in higher education;Previous experience with international college transcripts; andBilingual.
