Summary
Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer - MDS Architecture Assessment to perform important work supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will assess system architecture, current hardware limitations, MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, and needs and opportunities. He/She will develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level.

Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer - MDS Architecture Assessment to perform important work supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will assess system architecture, current hardware limitations, MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, and needs and opportunities. He/She will develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level.
Responsibilities
- Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including development and/or enhancements of M&S tools, analysis efforts on the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) system, and/or Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) efforts
- Support analysis plans, run M&S to execute the analysis plans, post-process and analyze M&S results, and prepare analysis reports
- Work with a team comprised of System Engineers, Application Engineers, and Hardware Engineers/developers for the design of unique subsystems that will be ntegrated into the overall operating system
- Participate in gathering business and product functional and performance requirements, defining and designing system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 + years of related experience
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive - Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- Familiarity with VM, Linux and Windows environments
- The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief.
Desired:
- Some understanding of the current MDS architecture
- Experience with application of M&S to defense architectures, HPC experience, MBSE experience are all pluses
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Benchmark is a plus
- Experience with Python, C++ is a plus
