Job Summary:
Westat is seeking individuals experienced with the development or conduct of clinical research protocols to support scientific investigators and other protocol team members.
Job Responsibilities:
• Managing, editing, and distributing protocol documents.
• Performing or assisting with literature reviews.
• Preparing standard protocol sections and informed consent forms.
• Acting as a liaison with product vendors.
• Creating data collection forms.
• Training clinical site staff.
• Maintaining and managing the protocol throughout implementation and close-out.
• Fielding questions from participating sites.
• Preparing study monitoring reports.
Basic Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience in clinical research
• Working knowledge of clinical trial protocol lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong writing and communication, and organizational skills including time management ability.
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
• Detailed oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with HIV research.
