Summary

The Program Controller will assist the Program Controller in the preparation of financial forecasts and satisfy program-specific financial requirements. The Jr. Program Controller will also provide operational support to the CABS PMO team as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial review for all company expense reporting.
  • Compile and ensure timely submission of all monthly Purchase Card expenses.
  • Complete APC Forms and EARS to ensure proper capture of project expenses and budget restraints.
  • Compile financial information and analyze cost estimating and financial forecasting from both a federal government and company perspective.
  • Track, approve, and process invoices and related financial documentation.
  • Performs semi-monthly reviews of all company timesheets to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Coordinate with MIOS Finance Team, CABS PMO, and Program Managers in analyzing financial and budgetary information.
  • Represent the company and be conversant with federal procurement officials concerning all program/contract financial requirements.
  • Examine and review cost records to identify and prevent discrepancies and ensure cost data is entered and allocated correctly.
  • Perform timely timesheet corrections and be in compliance with MIOS timesheet correction procedures.
  • Reconcile obligations, expenditures, and contract funding levels, and track estimates to completion.
  • Provide financial data and/or pricing support for proposals.
  • Assist with the annual budget process and future year budget projections.
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining funding and ceiling information for all CABS projects to ensure the most accurate financial information is being used by the Program Managers and PMO.
  • Establish close working relationships with company Program Managers, respective customers, subcontractors on a program-by-program basis, and PMO team members.
  • Attends weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings as requested.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 4+ years of federal or government contracting finance experience
  • Background Check required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-directed, ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Working knowledge of Costpoint/Deltek/Cognos is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MSWord, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret and prepare financial reports and documents.
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to attend all customer and PMO in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
