Position Summary: MAG is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer that understands, guides and executes systems engineering processes for a complex software-intensive program for PM Electronic Warfare and Cyber.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team in the early stages of a newly awarded 5-year task order with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting EW (Electronic Warfare and Cyber). The EW program delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of warfighting capabilities from sensor to Soldier worldwide. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to:Collaborates with stakeholders and contractors to accomplish technical activities applicable to development and integration of software capabilities. Participates in the development and implementation of system engineering strategies. Reviews and assesses developmental contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with government-provided regulations and standards. Participates in government oversight of contractor engineering activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities within the Software Agile Framework (SAFe). Generates recommendations to the government regarding system engineering, planning, requirements prioritization, design, and system integration. Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.Other duties may be assigned Requirements: Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills US CitizenshipMust Have 8 years of direct experience with system engineering5 years of experience with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes3 years of experience with software developmentExperience with Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile FrameworkExperience with Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence)Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topics Must be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-time ClearanceTS DoD Security Clearance required; Secret may apply but must be TS/SCI eligible EducationBS in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Desired Requirements Knowledge of PEO IEWS, PEO C3T ProgramsPrevious Military experience Experience as a Program Manager for federal acquisition programs.
