Primary Purpose

The Accounting Manager for Casimir and Clinical Edge will oversee the Finance and Accounting functions for both companies. This includes the migration to Microsoft Dynamics GP as the new ERP.

Responsibilities
  • Integration/migration to Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements while adhering to the corporate close calendar
  • Responsible for revenue recognition and revenue forecasting for awarded and pipeline projects
  • Oversees AR/AP and Operations Finance Analysts
  • Participates in internal/external financial audits
  • Partners with the Biopharma Controller to ensure accurate and complete financial information for the consolidated financial statements
  • Serves as a business partner to the operational leaders at Casimir and Clinical Edge
  • Leads the annual budget process for Casimir and Clinical Edge
  • Participates in the development of training programs for Project Managers and Operations Finance Teams
  • Reviews all client contracts/budgets prior to delivery
  • Reporting/Analysis on Project Profitability
  • Responsible for organizing and leading financial reviews with Casimir/CE Operational Leaders and Executives
  • Participation with internal initiatives related to process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field with at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Strong organization, time management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with others to achieve goals
  • Self-starter and detailed-oriented
  • CRO experience is preferred
