The Washington Post is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join out small, but mighty team that is dedicated to developing, supporting, and building out the Client Solutions Salesforce instance. The admin will work directly with team members ranging from business analysts, Client Partners, sales management, and sales operation. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority.

Responsibilities
  • Account set up for new hires or job changes
  • Dealing with SSO, two-factor authentication, and certificate problems.
  • Adding new white-listed IP addresses.
  • Helping users develop or fine-tune reports so they yield meaningful metrics
  • Troubleshooting email campaigns, workflows, approval cycles, or auto-responders that generate excessive bounced mails.
  • Expanding or refining sharing rules and access privileges so records can be properly viewed and manipulated (while keeping the "special records" locked or hidden altogether).
  • Fixing data records that have somehow been set with record types or ownerships that make them inaccessible to users.
  • Ensure dashboards are accurate and pulling in correctly.
  • Assists in providing hands-on training to all end-users. Assists in developing all step-by-step instructions for new and enhanced functionality.
  • Assist in development of shared Salesforce tools and infrastructure, including analytics, audit and alerting systems


Qualifications
  • Experience with TCRM/Einstein Analytics and/or Media Cloud
  • Fluent with Lightning
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • 3+ years' experience implementing and configuring saleforce.com (salesforce admin certification preferred)
  • Analytical Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or compensating work experience
  • Operational experience in maintaining and updating large-scale Internet services and sales operations
  • Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce CRM application coupled with good understanding of general business processes (Sales, Marketing, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to liaison with non-programmers
