Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Technical Program Analyst, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client in Charleston, SC as a. Configuration Management Tools and Process Specialist.. The Senior Analyst will review all current processes and tools used in the software development life cycle and tracking to determine and implement tooling capabilities to accommodate and array of software development testing and implementation strategies. This role will meet this requirement by focusing on the analysis and implementation of such tools as a third party to the development, testing, and implementation support teams. .

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex problems, develop and document alternate solutions
  • Perform and document results of "what-if" analysis
  • Perform requirements elicitation and analysis via user groups, interviews, regulatory research, etc.
  • Understanding customer requirements and project Key Performance Indictors
  • Draft requirements documents
  • Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues
  • Provide subject matter expertise on software functionality and business processes
  • Provide product management deliverables to aid the project manager and team in establishing shared expectations for a successful project
  • Perform routine monitoring activities and report on the status of the project across all lifecycle phases and at significant milestones
  • Understand lifecycle, structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
  • Understand the integration points and tooling and how to manage multiple project inputs
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire development lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement.
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Provide incident management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the DevOPs Cloud team and with customers
  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Mentoring and guiding the team members
  • Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Required Qualifications
  • Expertise with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 5 years experience with the software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support) or prior experience with project management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor

Desired Qualifications
  • PMP or CAPM certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOPs tools
  • Experience with Microfocus SBM tools
  • Experience with JIRA or other Agile based SCM tools
  • Experience with ServiceNow tools
  • Experience with RPA-tools including Test and or Deployment Automation
