The Washington Post includes salary ranges for certain positions to comply with local pay transparency laws. The salary range for this position is:
$75,400.00 - $125,600.00
The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.

Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact to lead and develop proposals ensuring concepts are purposeful, on-brand, with an ability to pitch ideas effectively
- Weave insights and ideas into compelling, coherent stories and translatable narratives
- Synthesize client direction, sales strategy, market trends, audience behavior data and consumer insights into compelling strategic platforms that translate thinking and spark creative ideation
- Work efficiently cross-functionally with sales, WP Creative Group, Product Marketing, design, editorial, and research to set creative frameworks and strategies for campaigns
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop multi-dimensional campaigns that combine our portfolio of assets into compelling solutions for brand advertisers that deliver on KPIs
- Lead, develop and communicate ideas that stretch across platforms, leveraging them creatively and effectively in service of the idea, the client advertiser, and the consumer
- Attend external calls with brand advertisers and/or agencies to identify client needs, lead internal briefing sessions of cross-disciplinary teams
- Become fluent in The Post's product offerings, audience insights and understand our custom content team's creative approach
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 2+ years of experience in digital space preferred
- Experience working collaboratively within a media company, brand or agency
- Strong interest and engagement with the Washington Post brand
- Highly organized with strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills
- Keen understanding of the news and media business
- Possesses a respect both the creative and editorial process
- Must be able to build trust and relationships easily
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Dropbox, including PowerPoint and Google Slides
